The Hotel is licensed for civil and religious ceremonies both indoors and out (weather permitting). For Winter weddings open log fires add to the elegance and charm of the day. The newly refurbished bridal suites are simply breathtaking and must be viewed to be fully appreciated. The hotel also offers double, twin, single and family rooms that are all en-suite and very luxurious.
 
With it’s own Courtyard and 2 acres of delightful gardens (featuring a 250 yr old oak tree) there are plenty of unique photo opportunities. Beautiful surroundings, enthusiastic staff and talented chefs combine to make this one of the best Wedding venues in the south of Scotland.
 
At The Moffat House Hotel we specialise in tailor made weddings to suit all tastes and all sizes of weddings. We can offer various alternatives to suit different budgets and different needs. Our Banqueting room can seat up to 120 people for the Wedding Breakfast and 200 for the evening reception. Our Sun Lounge and Hopetoun Restaurant are better suited to smaller parties. The Adams Lounge Bar has a great selection of beverages, including over 100 malt whiskies, and an open log fire.
